Tip of the day: Christmas items sell year round. Today I went into Pier 1 Imports. 75% all Christmas items. In a few weeks, they might be 80% off....even 90%off. Wait until they are 80-90% off. If you live in an area with a Pier 1, grab some of those deals and list them at a fixed price. (There really aren't many Pier 1items listed on eBay.)
Last week, I went into CVS. All Christmas items were 90% off. Christmas mugs were 10 cents a piece!!! Purchasing at retail stores is awesome. If you buy 10 of the same item, for example, you can create one listing with a quantity of 10 and wait for them to sell. The key is to buy Christmas goodies at 80-90% off. Unless you have a great deal of storage space, stick to the smaller items.
Note: This is also a great time to buy inexpensive, quality items to use as 2010 Christmas gifts!
